Azerbaijani wrestlers win two gold medals in last days of Olympics. Azerbaijan has a history of success in Wrestling Sports and the victories delighted the nation.

Azerbaijan wrestlers have won two gold medals in the last weekend of the London Olympics, delighting the nation and shooting the Azerbaijani team to 30th place in the Medal Table.

Togrul Asgarov, participating in men’s 60 kg freestyle wrestling won the first gold for Azerbaijan in men’s 60 kg freestyle wrestling defeating in the final the Russian Besik Kuduhov.   Another Wrestler Sharif Sharifov won the second gold medal for Azerbaijan later on Saturday. Azerbaijan has a history of success in Wrestling Sports and the victories delighted the nation.

The London 2012 Olympic Games come to a final close today, with a closing ceremony that is being  advertised as a "big party".

Teams from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia have participated in the games with some success. Apart from the two gold medlas, Azerbaijan has also won two silver and five bronze medals. Georgia has one gold, three silver and two bronze and Armenia has won one silver and two bronze medals.
