Mammadyarov meets US national security advisor ahead of talks with Armenian counterpart

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar mammadyarov on Wednesday met with the US National Security Advisor John Balton, to discuss the Karabakh issue,m bilateral relations and the regional situation.

Mammadyarov later also met the diplomats representing the OSCE Minsk Group co-Chair countries - France, Russia and the United States.

Mammadyarov on Thursday is expected to meet with his Armenian counterpart Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in talks faciltated by the co-chair, in an effort to put peace talks on a solution to the Karabakh conflict back on tack. Mnatsakanyan met the mediators on Tuesday.
