Important EU-Turkey summit in Varna on Monday

An important regular summit between Turkey and the European union will be held on Monday evening (26 March ) in the Bulgarian Black Sea port of Varna.

The Turkish official Anadolu news agency said that during the summit, "Turkey-EU relations, economy, trade, security, counter-terrorism, foreign policy, Palestine, the Balkans, Syria, Rakhine state, Iraq, Libya and regional issues will be discussed."

President Recip Tayip Erdogan will lead the turkish side, whilst the EU will be represented by the Troika - the President of the European Commission, jean Claud Juncker, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk and the  Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, representing the Bulgarian Presidency.
