The Azerbaijan Central Elections Commission (CEC) has declared that Ilham Aliyev has won the presidential elections held in Azerbaijan on 11 April. The Central Elections Commission said that President Aliyev has gathered 86.09 percent of the vote.
The remaining votes were shared between seven other candidates as follows: Gudrat Hasanguliyev - 3.4 percent; Sardar Jalaloglu - 2.97 percent; Zahid Oruj - 3.07 percent; Hafiz Hajiyev - 1.51 percent; Araz Alizade - 1.4 percent; Faraj Guliyev - 1.18 and Razi Nurullayev - 0.74 percent.
According to the CEC voter turnout was 74.51 percent.
