The European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, held a series of meetings with Armenian officials during his visit to Yerevan on 16 October. Klaar met with prime minister Nikol Pashinyan with who he discussed recent developments around the Karabakh conflict and conflict resolution process.
According to a report published on the website of the prime minister of Armenia, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that Armenia attaches importance to the continuous development of relations with the European Union, and the high-level official meetings prove the effective dialogue between Armenia and the EU, the dynamic process of cooperation. According to Nikol Pashinyan, the European Union is Armenia's most important partner in the process of wide-ranging reforms which the Armenian government is determined to pursue.
