Armenia agrees to e-CMR convention on transport digitalisation

E-CMR is an electronic format for the rules of international transport of goods covered by the United Nations Convention. The Convention entered into force in Armenia last week and provides the legal basis for online road transport protocols.

The E-CMR will improve the efficiency and safety of goods transport in Armenia and the region in general. It will also increase transparency and security throughout the transport chain, while reducing handling costs.
