10 September: Vigen Sargsyan has been appointed Acting Head of the Armenian Presidential Administration following the unexpected resignation of Karen Karapetyan from the post. (agencies)

News.am also reports that Karapetyan's resignation has been discussed at a meeting of the ruling Armenian Republican Party yesterday evening, at which President Sargsyan was present. One of the Party MPs told the agency that the resignation was not the result of a conflict.
