Armenian President thanks Baroness Cox for her support. The British MP is a long standing advocate of the rights of Karabakh Armenians.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has thanked British Parliamentarian Baroness Caroline Cox for her long term support to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as her humanitarian work and her efforts toward strengthening Armenian-British ties. The President received Baroness Cox during her visit to Yerevan

The President stressed that the Armenian people have special feelings toward their friends, and expressed confidence that in history Baroness Caroline Cox's name will be one of the first ones to be remembered as the greatest friend of the Armenians. President Sargsyan and Baroness Cox discussed the current reforms in Armenia, Armenia's development priorities and the Armenia-EU cooperation and underscored the need to provide to the international community objective and complete information about the Karabakh issue.
