President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly meets Azerbaijan president

The president of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO-PA), Paolo Alli, on Wednesday met in Baku with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Alli is in Baku to attend a meeting of the NATO-PA Economic and Social Committee.

Both sides stressed the importance of the NATO parliamentary assembly in the development of Azerbaijan-NATO relations. In the meeting President Alieyev recalled his visit to NATO headquarters last year. President Aliyev noted that co-operation between NATO and Azerbaijan has been ongoing for many years and covers a wide range of areas.
