Iranian MfA:

There have been no changes in Iran's position on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Sunday, ISNA reports.

"Iran supports peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in compliance of the international law and by continuation of the negotiations process", Mehmanparast said, answering reporters' questions about recent statement by the Iranian Embassy in Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Saturday, the Iranian embassy in Armenia made a statement saying that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be resolved on the basis of a dialogue, non-use of force and respect for the right to self-determination.  According to the Armenian media, the embassy has not mentioned the principle of respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Mehmanparast also said that Iran was ready to assist the parties in resolving the conflict.
