Ankara and Moscow hold permanent consultations on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu said.
"The recent detailed consultations on this issue were held with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Istanbul", Davutoglu told in the interview with Turkish Sabah newspaper.
The Turkish FM noted that presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan were held in 2013.
"This period is usually not suitable for negotiations", he said.
The minister noted that Ankara wishes progress in Karabakh settlement 'as it is very important for Turkey, too'.
