OSCE Secretary General notes progress in resolution of frozen conflicts

Trend: There are postitive changes in the process of the settlement of frozen conflicts in the area of OSCE, said Friday Secretary General of OSCE Lamberto Zannier in an interview to ITAR-TASS.

According to him, the agreement of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents to meet was an important step

"We are in talks with both sides of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Currently, we are working hard to ensure the meeting of Azerbaijan and Armenia leaders. Hopefully, it will be held before the end of the year," - Zannier said.

He added, that the task of the OSCE is to support the intention of the parties to move towards a political solution and not to consider other alternatives.
