NKR Defense Army press-service calls absurd reports that Azerbaijanis took strategic heights

Reports that Azerbaijani subdivisions took dominant heights in the Armenian positions near the Mrov Mountain is an absurd and an attempt to encourage the Azerbaijani public, says the statement provided to ArmInfo by the press-service of the NKR Defense Army.

Earlier, Azerbaijani mass media reported that allegedly under leadership of Defense Minister Safar Abiyev the Azerbaijani subdivisions took a strategic height though a special operation on July 26 and captured many Armenian soldiers.

The NKR Defense Army calls the above reports a fruit of the sick imagination of the Azerbaijani mass media and the defense ministry. In addition, the NKR Defense Army press-service reports that it was the Azerbaijani party that suffered human loss in the period from July 29 to 31 - 1 killed and 2 wounded.
