Two French journalists wounded in Karabakh

Two French journalists working for the newspaper Le Monde were wounded on Thursday morning (1 October) whilst covering the story of the ongoing fighting in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. The journalists were on the Armenian side of the line of contact near the town of Martouni/Khojavend.

The journalists were born in 1989 and 1991. Armenian sources named one of the journalists as Allan Kaval. They had been together with several other journalists including a team from Agence France Presse, who escaped unhurt.
