Iranian Defence Minister holds talks in Baku with Azerbaijani President

The Minister of Defence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Amir Hatami, currently visiting Azerbaijan, met in Baku on Wednesday with President Ilham Aliyev and conveyed to him the greetings of the Iranian leadership.

President Ilham Aliyev "hailed the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Iran in different areas, including military and military-technical fields". President Ilham Aliyev recalled that there had been ten Azerbaijani-Iranian presidential summits in the last few years and that this was a sign of the high-level relations between the two countries.
