Happy Nowruz

The three thousand year old Nowruz festival marking the arrival of Spring and Persian new year is celebrated in Iran, Azerbaijan, parts of Georgia, Central Asia and among diaspora communities world-wide on 20-21 March.

The day of Nowruz is also officially marked by the United Nations because it promotes peace and solidarity, particularly in families. The day also focuses on reconciliation and good-neighbourliness, contributing to cultural diversity and friendship among peoples and different communities.

The editorial team of commonspace.eu extends best wishes for the Nowruz holiday to all our readers and subscribers in Azerbaijan, Iran, Georgia, central Asia and beyond. Happy Nowruz Holiday
