Azerbaijan joins Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference

Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov will participate in the 3rd Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference on 23-24 October in Qingdao. The conference will focus on various issues such as energy security, growth of energy markets, advances in renewable energy technologies and financial incentives to support green energy initiatives.

Shahbazov is expected to deliver a number of speeches on Baku's approach to energy diversification and further cooperation on energy security. In addition, Shahbazov is expected to participate in bilateral meetings with the heads of various Chinese companies.
