Armenian President meets OSCE Minsk Group co-Chair at the start of their visit to the region

The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday (21 October) met with the three co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, representing France, the US and Russia. Issues related to the Karabakh conflict settlement, and confidence building measures between the conflicting sides, were discussed. The three diplomats are today expected to cross the contact line seperating Armenian and Azerbaijani forces. The OSCE is also due to conduct monitoring of the cease fire arrangements.
