Armenia says it has killed four Azerbaijani soldiers; Azerbaijan says report is fictitious

Armenian sources say that four Azerbaijani soldiers were killed early on Thursday morning (22 June) as they were trying to infiltrate Armenian positions on the line of contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. Reports carried by Armenian media, citing defence sources in Nagorno-Karabakh, said that "thanks to the high tactical readiness and proper technical equipment, the subunits of the Karabakh Defense Army carrying out military vigil duly noticed the advancement of the diversionary group and drew it back, inflicting at least 4 human losses on them. The Azerbaijani side left personal items of special task units nearby the Armenian positions".

The Azerbaijani side has denied the incident and described the story as fictitious.
