Armenia marks Army Day

Armenia marked Army Day on Monday (28 January) to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Armed Forces.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Armen Sargsyan led political, religious and civic leaders at a ceremony at the Yerablur military pantheon where they paid tribute to the memory of fallen soldiers and other Armenians who died in the defence of their country.

Also attending the ceremony were leading officers of the Armenian Armed Forces.
