European Parliament suggests replacing France with European Union in OSCE Minsk Group

On March 22 the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament adopted a document on Armenia. The document suggests replacing France with the European Union in the OSCE Minsk Group, Radio Liberty reports.

The document is to be put up to voting during the European Parliament's plenary session, which will most likely be held in a month.

The OSCE Minsk Group represented by the co-chairs from Russia, the USA and France has been engaged in the Karabakh peace process since 1992.
