Construction of NPP in Turkey meets Russia's interests

The construction of a nuclear power plant (NPP) in Turkey meets Russia's interests, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told journalists on Wednesday.

"Russia has the relevant potential and experience, and implementation of projects on construction of NPPs in various countries meets its interests", the premier said.

To note, during Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent visit to Turkey, the sides reached an agreement on construction of a NPP in Turkey by Russia.
