A big protest action is being held in front of the Hungarian Parliament building in Budapest Tuesday evening.
According to the Public Television of Armenia, several thousands of people, mostly Hungarians, are expressing their protest against the decision of the Hungarian authorities to extradite Azeri murderer Ramil Safarov to his come country.
Speaking from the tribune are both Hungarians and Armenians living in Hungary. They are condemning the Hungarian authorities for having sold the conscience and dignity of the Hungarian people and for having deprived their country of honest future.
The protesters believe that the "dirty" Hungarian government must resign.
Ramil Safarov, an Azeri officer sentenced by a Hungarian court to life in jail for brutally killing an Armenian officer in Budapest in 2004, was extradited to Azerbaijan on Aug 31 and pardoned by the Azeri President once back home.
