ArmInfo: Armenia will contribute to opening of Abkhazian railway

Armenia is extremely interested in re-opening of the Abkhazian railway and will contribute to its possible re-opening as much as possible, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian told media, Thursday.

Earlier, during his recent visit to Armenia Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Invanishvi touched upon possibility of the Abkhazian railway's re-opening. The issue became relevant as soon as Ivanishvili took the office of the prime minister. However, President Saakashvili and his entourage harshly criticize the Georgian Government's stance on the given issue, calling it contrary to Georgia's interests.
