Azerbaijan's bid for a seat on the UN Security Council still undecided

After nine rounds of voting in the General Assembly the election of a non permanent member of the UN Security Council was inconclusive. Despite getting 113 votes, against Slovenia's 77, Azerbaijan fell short of the two thirds majority required. The voting resumes on Monday.
