Armenia and Azerbaijan have both reported incidents on the international border between them over the last two days.
Armenia says that one of its soldiers was injured as a result of Azerbaijani shooting in the Tavush region.The press secretary of the Armenian Defence Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page that "the condition of a contract serviceman injured in the enemy's fire in Tavush today is stabile. He was injured in the head and soon he will be transported by helicopter to Yerevan".
The Azerbaijani side said that "on April 29-30, units of the armed forces of Armenia from various directions and at different times of day repeatedly fired from high-caliber weapons towards combat points of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan on the state border with Armenia in the direction of Gazakh region."
On Monday (29 April) Armenia reported shooting near the village of Baghanis in the Tavush region, but said no one was injured. Baghanis is situated on the main highway between Yerevan and Tbilisi approximately 175km from Yerevan, 41km from Ijevan and less than 1km from the border with Azerbaijan.
