Armenia-EU Cooperation Committee to meet in Brussels, Monday, the Armenian Ministry of Economy reports.
Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan is the Armenian Co-Chair of the Committee. Gunnar Wiegand, Director Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Co-operation and OSCE, European External Action Service, is the European Co-Chair.
The two parties will discuss implementation of the Armenia-EU Action Plan as part of the European Neighborhood, as well as issues related to the negotiations for the Armenia-EU Association Agreement and free trade zone. The agenda of the meeting contains also issues related to supremacy of the law, human rights and freedoms, cooperation in the sphere of transport and energy, the Karabakh peace process, Armenia-Turkey normalization and EU projects.
