PM Gakharia: Tbilisi is interested in a peaceful resolution of the situation

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said about the great risks associated with the ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, noting that Tbilisi is interested in a peaceful resolution of the situation.

"When a real war is going on in our neighborhood, this is a great risk for Georgia. Of course, we are doing everything to contribute to the establishment of peace," said Gakharia.

He stressed that ethnic Armenians and Azerbaijanis also live in Georgia.

"Georgia is directly interested in any conflict in our region to be resolved only through negotiations, and we are doing everything possible for this," he said.
