The Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski, on Thursday, 28 June, opened the consultation process on the road map for the European Union engagement with civil society in Armenia in the period 2018-20.
In a speech to civil society representatives, Ambassador Switalski encouraged the large number of civil society activists to engage actively in this process and come forward with their proposals, the EU Delegation to Armenia tweeted. Under the provisions of the new enhanced partnership agreement between Armenia and the European Union an important role is envisaged for civil society activity.
