Armenian Churches all over the world, and churches of other Christian denominations pealed their bells for one hundred times Thursday evening as the Armenian nation mourned the victims of the events of 1915, sometimes characterised as the Armenian Genocide. From the Mother Church in Echmiadzin to the Cathedral of St James in Jerusalem, to small Churches of Armenian communities, including in Moslim countries, such as the ones in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah the Churches pealed their bells to remember those who died.
