The heads of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia have stated the achievement of mutual understanding on a number of issues, the settlement of which contributes to creation of conditions for approval of the Basic Principles, says the joint statement of the Azeri, Armenian and Russian presidents on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement made upon completion of the trilateral meeting in Kazan.
The statement says that the presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia met on June 24 2011 in Kazan and considered the course of the work being done by their instruction in order to coordinate the draft Basic Principles of the Karabakh conflict settlement.
"The presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan thanked the heads of Russia, the United States and France as the OSCE MG co-chair states for their permanent attention to the problem of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement and highly appreciated the personal efforts of the Russian president in contribution to achievement of agreements", the statement says.
