Sargsyan meets with Secretary of Russia's Security Council to discuss collaboration between the two strategic allies and Karabkah.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Sunday received Russia's Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, who is in Armenia on a working visit.

Armenian government sourcers told the media that "they discussed collaboration between the two strategic allied countries. They also reflected on the regional developments and challenges and the current situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process."

The Armenian President and the Russian Security Council Secretary also discussed action being taken to increase the level of security, and the modernising and upgrading of the checkpoints along the state border of Armenia.
