The River Vere overflowed and flooded the Vake-Saburtalo Highway crushing cars. Around thirty animals escaped from Tbilisi Zoo and some continue to roam the streets of the Georgian Capital. Several people died and damage is reported to be substantial.

A spokesperson of the OSCE has confirmed to commonspace.eu that the Government of Azerbaijan has sent a note verbale to the Organisation saying that the arrangements for the operation of the Office were being terminated with effect from 4 June.
