The Armenian Central Elections Commission today officially declared Serzh Sargsyan as winner in last week's Presidential elections in Armenia. According to earlier information released by the CEC Sargsyan got just under 58% of the votes. The runner up in the election, Raffi Hovhannessian got just under 37% of the vote according to the same source. However Hovhanessian has refused to recognise the result and has been holding daily public meetings with citizens protesting against what they allege to be election fraud.
