Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers to meet in Milan on Wednesday

The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov will meet on Wednesday (5 December) to continue discussions aimed at resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to diplomatic sources in Baku and Yerevan the two ministers will meet under the ausipices of the three co-Chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Process. The meeting will take place in Milan on the margines of the 25th annual ministerial meeting of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Italy currently holds the chairmanship of the organisation. It will hand over to Slovakia at the end of the year.

The last meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers took place in New York in September.
