Armenia, on Tuesday (24 September) launched large scale military manoeuvres which the defence ministry is describing as strategic. The Defence Ministry told the Armenian media that heavy military equipment is involved in the exercises. It is understood that military elements in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone are also involved in the manoevres.
