Nagorno-Karabakh and Abkhazia committed to develop cooperation

Speaker of the National Assembly of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ashot Gulyan met on Saturday with Vice President of Abkhazia Mikhail Logua, who was in Stepanakert for attending the inauguration of NKR President Bako Sahakyan.

The press service of the NKR NA quotes Gulyan as saying that in the past 20 years Nagorno-Karabakh-Abkhazian relations have evolved into close comprehensive cooperation.

"We are likeminded in our efforts to realize the cherished dreams of our peoples and to overcome the challenges our independent states are facing," Gulyan said.

Logua said that it was his first visit to Nagorno-Karabakh. "What I have seen here is a strong government, social-economic progress and public accord. This all proves that you deserve what you want," the Abkhazian Vice President said.
