Special representative of Armenia to UN:

The main discussions in UN General Assembly ended on 27 September in New York. When Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov delivered a speech, the discussion between the delegations of Armenia and Azerbaijan started.

As press-service of Armenia's Foreign Ministry reported, Ambassador Karen Nazaryan has stated in his speech that Mammadyarov's statements in address to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh are the result of his imagination, who still thinks that the propaganda of cold war and anti-Armenian statements released in the UN can serve as useful tools to strengthen the positions of his country in the negotiations being mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group.

Denying Armenia's "aggression", the demands to withdraw Armenian armed forces, and statements on one million refugees, Ambassador Nazaryan has underlined that the minister's accusations and facts are fake and groundless, which harm the negotiations and activities done by the international organizations. Ambassador Nazaryan has stated those statements delay those constructive steps that the people of NK need. He also added that Azerbaijan forced armed conflict against NK. Finally he said that if Azerbaijan misleads its people making fake statements, it doesn't necessarily mean that the same will happen with the international community.
