The recent blockage of the Suez Canal by the 400-metre-long 'Ever Given' container ship exposed the vulnerability of global trade routes. It reopened the debate about alternative routes, including the opening of the Northern Sea Route via northern Russia, and the Northwest Passage via northern Canada. Golden parade for Egyptian mummies

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, partially opened in 2017, is set to receive 22 mummies from the Egyptian Museum. Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced that a parade will take place on 3 April as the mummies are transferred from El Tahrir, in the city centre, to Fustat, part of Old Cairo, where the new museum is located.

President Kais Saied said he is willing to oversee a national dialogue, with an active youth participation, to address a wide range of economic and political issues.  The initiative for the dialogue was brought forward by the influential Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT). It has also been something that has been discussed and advocated by activists and civil society members.
