Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia in a statement on Sunday (4 October) declared that allegations that weapons were being transported to Azerbaijan through Georgia was disinformation.
Darsalia noted that amid ongoing confrontation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgia has suspended the transit of military cargo through its territory to either country by land or by air.
The Deputy foreign minister called on Armenian officials and population to avoid fake news and rely on reliable, verified sources only.
He further stated that Georgia will remain committed to international obligations despite disinformation that is being spread in social media.
