Armenian President meets with European Parliament delegation

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met on Wednesday with a delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament. 

The delegation is led by European MP Andrey Kovatchev.

The press service of the President of Armenia quotes him as saying that the visit of the European MPs is an important part of the preparation of the report on Armenia and the region and that such missions are a good opportunity for them to see the situation with their own eyes and to form an unbiased opinion.

The sides discussed the course of the Armenia-EU association negotiations.

Israel and Syria have technically been at war since 1948.
