Hungary's ambassador to Romania apologizes for Safarov's extradition


 The Armenian community of Bucharest held a protest action Thursday in front of the Hungarian Embassy in Romania, and protested Hungary's extradition of Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan and his pardoning.

The protesting delegation was received by Hungarian Ambassador to Romania, Oszkar Laszlo Fuzes.

The delegates handed to Ambassador Fuzes their official letter of protest. In his turn, the Hungarian diplomat expressed his deep regret and apologies, on behalf of his country's government, for what transpired.

To note, because of Ramil Safarov's extradition to Azerbaijan, since 31 August Armenian communities of the whole world have been holding protest actions in front of Hungary's embassies. They demand Safarov's returning to Hungary and his staying in prison.
