Foreign minister of Norway:

Norway believes that the regional conflicts must be solved in a peaceful way, in a diplomatic way and through political efforts, Foreign Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Store said during the joint press-conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan.

"As to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, we support the Minsk Group efforts and in general the efforts of the international community directed toward the establishment of peace," Norwegian FM stressed.

Referring to the concern that Azerbaijan may use Norwegian investments for starting race of weaponry, Jonas Gahr Store noted that the government of Norway hopes that any Norwegian company functioning abroad will not only act in accordance with the laws of
that country but also in accordance with international standards. "I have no doubts that the Norwegian companies do in that way in Azerbaijan," he said. The Norwegian minister also pointed out that Norway has good economic relations with Azerbaijan through the oil companies which are participating in energy programs.

Chinese using Linkedin to recruit agents in UK

An alert issued to MPs, peers and parliamentary staff by security services identified two LinkedIn profiles, which it says are used on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of State Security (MSS). It says they act as "civilian recruitment head-hunters", targeting individuals working in British politics to solicit "insider insights". UK Security minister Dan Jarvis has said the government will not tolerate "covert and calculated" attempts to interfere with the UK's sovereign affairs, after MI5 warned MPs of the risk from Chinese spies. Jarvis announced a package of measures in the House of Commons to tackle espionage threats to the UK.
