The Defence Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia are meeting in Tbilisi. This is the latest in a series of trilateral meetings and initiatives that aim to bring the three countries closer together.
Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia have traditionally had good relations with each other, but the construction of the Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan pipeline, and other similar projects that followed have given the three countries a common agenda and made them joint stakeholders in the region's future security and stability.
