Azerbaijan says soldier killed by Armenian sniper; Armenia denies.The number of casualties on the front line has increased sharply in the last months as efforts to restart the peace negotiations between the two sides remained stalled.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's press service reported that a soldier was killed on the line of contact seperating Armenian and Azerbaijani forces on 10 March. The press service told APA that 19-year old Abilov Ali Ilham was killed as a result of ceasefire violation around the Fuzuli region on the contact line. he was from Shirvan region of Azerbaijan. Though the killed soldier was from Shirvan, he is expected to be buried in Sumgayit, where his parents live.

The Armenian Defence Ministry has denied any cease fire violation.
