Yerevan, January 17. Arminfo.
It will be very hard to settle Karabakh conflict over the coming years, Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili said at today's press-conference in Yerevan when replying to the question of Georgian mass media.
"We want the conflict to be resolved only peacefully", - he said and added he is an inexperienced politician and does not want to discuss the topic any more, as he discussed it when meeting President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Georgia's premier was angry with a question asked by a journalist of "Rustavi-2" TV channel which again touched on the statement by Foreign Minister of Georgia, Maya Panjikidze, about territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, which was distorted by Azerbaijani mass media. By the way, the question was not translated from Georgian, but displeasure of the Georgian premier was evident. Azerbaijani mass media reported, that Panjikidze allegedly said that settlement of the Karabakh conflict is possible only in favor of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, whereas she said that Georgia respects territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
"This problem has been already exhausted. Your TV channel reported that the answer was distorted, but you again touch on it", - Ivanishvili said.
Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan thanked Georgian authorities for the balanced position regarding the Karabakh conflict settlement.
