The second round is contested by Emergency Minister Anatoly Bibilov and former Education Minister Alla Dzhioyeva, who received 25.44 percent and 25.37 percent of the votes, respectively, on November 13.

In the runoff, elections are valid if more than 30 percent of voters take part in them. The winner is chosen by simple majority
