Strong winds at a strength of twelve miles an hour blew over Armenia on Tuesday afternoon (6 June)
There are reports of some damage to property according to the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, cited by news.am. The agency also said that damage was also reported in Etchmiadzin.
The press service of the Armenian Hydro Power Plant (HPP) informed that the wind has damaged the Hayrenik substation, resulting in a power outage in parts of Yerevan’s Shengavit administrative district.
The Mayor of Yerevan has issued a statement saying that municipal workers were engaged in repaing damage caused.
