Georgia's election commission has updated its list of voters, in preparation for the legislative elections scheduled for October. Voters can now check their voter registration data on a special website: voters.cec.gov.ge.
The public version of voter lists is available to registered parties and electoral observers. Voters can see and change information only about themselves and family members. In case of inaccuracies, voters must apply to the electoral commission before 22 September.
In accordance with the electoral law, on July 15 the electoral commission will update the the list of voters again. The election campaign began formally on June 8.
Georgians will go to the polls on October 8. There will be 3,634 polling stations in 73 separate districts, according to Interpress News.
