EU envoy met Azerbaijani President

EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, on Monday (19 February), met in Baku with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Issues related to the Karabakh conflict, and its resolution, as well as aspects of EU-Azerbaijan relations, were expected to be on the agenda. Also present for the meeting were the Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Kestutis Jankauskas, and members of the staff of EUSR Klaar.

Klaar is ona two-day visit to Baku during which he is expected to meet Government officials and representatives of civil society.
